Access to Work

Access to Work – Get Support for Your Perfect Chair

What is Access to Work?

Access to Work is a government scheme that helps people with health conditions or disabilities get the right equipment and support they need at work. If you struggle with back or neck pain, sitting for long hours, or need specialist seating, Access to Work may fund part or all of your chair.

Who can apply?

You can apply if: - You have a health condition or disability that affects how you work. - You are employed, self-employed, or about to start a job. - You work from home or in an office.

How much funding is available?

Funding is tailored to your needs. Many of our customers have had chairs fully or partly funded through the scheme, reducing or removing the cost to them or their employer.

How Well Adjusted Seating can help

• Expert guidance: We’ll help you choose the right chair for your needs.
• Supporting paperwork: We can provide quotes and product info for your application.
• Clinical expertise: Our chiropractor-led approach means you get the best advice for long-term spinal health. • Local service: Free trials within 20–30 miles of Emsworth, plus nationwide delivery.

Steps to apply

1. Visit the government Access to Work site and start your application.

2. Explain how your condition affects your work and why you need a specialist chair.

3. Once approved, you’ll be assigned a case manager and often an assessor will review your needs.

4. Tell your assessor you’d like to use Well Adjusted Seating as your preferred supplier. This helps ensure the right chair is chosen for you. We can provide quotes and technical details directly to your assessor if needed.

5. Once your grant is approved, we’ll arrange delivery and setup of your chair.
